The American terrorist regime really is trying to burn the whole international order down because Trump believed whatever the last person told him and started bombing Iran. I have trouble seeing an offramp for this anytime soon since birth sidesare locked in.
I could see Iran negotiating and winning concessions for things like sanction relief and then being attacked again in a few years. Operation True Promise 5 would finish off the last remnants of the US military around Iran.
This all assumes that they are ready to negotiate at this point which is doubtful. Iran will probably commit to the 40 day mourning period like I’ve seen other suggest. The contradictions are heightening and this is all impossible to predict though.

Cutting China off from oil and getting them to lean heavily on Iran to stop the attacks and sign a ceasefire with the US that doesn’t meet any of their demands.
China does not have that level of influence with Iran. Even if China did have that level of influence, Iran has been laser focused on their own sovereignty since the revolution against the shah.
No country can influence Iran to end the blockade and the war except for the Iranians themselves. What could any country do to influence a country that is almost entirely isolated from the international community? What? Are they going to sanction Iran?
Or during the gulf state collapse there’s the rise of a pan-arab confederation on the peninsula that has strong ties to the non peninsula arab states. Slowly it expands as a semicoherent project with regional influence.

That actually reminds me, didn’t exactly that happen right before covid? After the Soleimani assassination Iran bombed a base and they said the same thing when a few missiles didn’t hit directly.
“This is china’s nightmare”, I say as I shoot myself in the foot. This just makes china and the global south go to rebnewables quicker because the oil markets are getting progressively destroyed. Control of these oil markets also doesn’t fully matter like that when russia is rerouting it’s fossil fuels to china.
What about a strike near the facilities to clearly show the capability and restraint? That probably gets too close and allows an American false flag attack though.

When someone becomes the US president, they get imbued with the spirit of the American Empire. It possesses and acts through them. Empire necessitates domination by any means and a few little lies don’t matter when we could be looting Iran. They cannot act in any other way.
What’s stopping them is their morality and their need to defeat their enemies militarily. The American and Israeli elites don’t care about civilian life and so they are okay with terror bombing campaigns and destroying civilian infrastructure if they can’t strike the underground drone and missile facilities. Iran on the other hand has to maintain the image of the righteous defenders of their homeland.
At some point between where we are now and a nuclear blast in Tehran is a point of no return though. We can’t know that point ahead of time but the Iranians can change their approach if things really deteriorate.
