    I had one of these roll over my hand when I picked up a bottle of water two weeks ago. Made a good thud when it landed on the ground.

    Thank fuck it was really slow to walk away so I could get a glass to trap it in.

    Released 100m from my house because I couldn’t bring it over me to let it starve over days or weeks.

      NGL, that’s actually a really good scale item. Only problem is you just gave that spider a melee weapon.

        Wrenches come I a million different sizes though. My dads lab had a huge 10 pound wrench that looked just like that

          Yes, combination wrenches come in a million different sizes that are all clearly labeled as to what size they are, in standardized units, with either end of the wrench giving you a visual scale of the labeled size, making it easy to determine the scale of an object.

          It would be pretty simple to resize that image so the opening of the wrench was 15mm on whatever screen you were viewing it on, and measure the spider accordingly. This is why it makes a good scale.
