    Okay so it’s a comic book about a superhero whose power set is rooted in democracy. Every time they face someone or something they can’t beat, the powers that be hold a vote on whether or not to give them new powers (which invariably happens)

    Except we never hear from the hero themselves until towards the end, when the votes have piled up over years and years, and they no longer bear any resemblance to who they used to be.
