A friend and I are going to be these lil guys. Costume’s are almost done, they are silly as hell.
The last costume I did years ago was somewhat-sexy bowser and it ruled. I somehow came across a plastic Ninja Turtles shell with straps that probably came from a costume at a thrift store. I spray painted it and made the spikes and everything, I still have that thing because it came out so good
Yeah makes sense, the commercialism is pretty gross. I’ve noticed over time that it seems stores have slowly started putting out their holiday decorations earlier and earlier. Like I started seeing Christmas decorations in stores a month ago. THERE IS NO NEED FOR THAT.
I think I really enjoy holidays because I had a fucked up childhood but Christmas and Halloween were always cool where my parents and family acted normal and gave me attention. So I get a lot of nostalgia and love decorations. Hearing Mariah Carey Christmas songs all December in every public space makes me want to commit horrific crimes, though
