Or did we all watch the Puppy Bowl?
More repetitive than anything else. They were mostly a variation on someone (either a smart-looking techie type or a celebrity) trying to tell people in an office environment how much more efficient AI will make them. Definitely screams that the industry is struggling to convince people to use AI at all for any serious purpose rather than convincing people that their particular brand of AI is more useful than the others.
Oh, there was one ad that depicted AI as a “next step” of sorts after Linux which made me want to throw up.
Linux Mentioned?
28 years later ending song? Ominous.
Yeah, ewwww. I think I’d throw up and so would my favourite plush penguin… lol.

The best commercial I saw was the Pepsi one, which afaik didn’t use AI and was spoofing on Coke, who has definitely done AI generated ads.
The worst was the Meta AI one in which someone is teaching their kid to use Meta AI rather than their own imagination to visualize what their new house will look like.
Not specifically ai but the commercial with a bunch of de-aged celebrities was kind of jarring (i assume that ‘s an ai application). Just throw filters all over reality and let me experience life through a screen taped to my eyes.
Who won the puppy bowl?
Who won the puppy bowl?
Puppies. The puppies always win
Not a Superbowl ad because I don’t watch the Superbowl but I did get one where a family is asking chatgpt medical questions about cancer. That shit is desperate like oh then ask your doctor but let’s be real without health care most people just googling shit
Lots of AI ads and ads that we’re promoting AI. The only good one I saw was the one with 50 Cent referencing all his beefs but even then it’s still an ad.
dunno… i think i saw a blurry budweiser one or something but i wasn’t actually watching… i was playing fallout new vegas
Better use of time.
The bud commercial was actually kind cute
