Suella Braverman is such a cancer on humanity. Guess we have this to look forward to in the future when Labour inevitably controlled opposition’s the country straight into nazidom.

Calling this lady out for appealing to racists and then casually throwing out some racism, classic.

Somehow roping the DPRK into it when Britain has a verifiable and documented history of violently imposing white cishet gender norms on colonized societies (including writing the most prevalent anti-homosexuality laws in the world).

      Hate the Brits so much

The only way it could’ve been more British an action is if Suella Braverman’d been smothering a fox with a copy of the Magna Carta printed on a union flag while she’d announced it.

Liberals can only see bad policy in terms of designated foreign enemies.

  • See, this is the inevitable outcome of the transphobia pipeline. They start with never shutting up about their third grader understanding of biology and before you know it, they propose that nobody has it harder than white able-bodied cishet men with several swastika tattoos. There is no alternative to nipping this in the bud wherever you encounter it.

      • I mean, don’t get me wrong, they obviously also want to ramp up the transphobia further, suggesting things like making any and all social transition in schools illegal, effectively putting all trans kids through a suicidality maximiser every single weekday. And i do not like it when cissies treat us like a canary in the coal mines or focus on how transphobia “also harms cis women.” Trans people in general and trans women and children in particular are always one of the groups reactionaries go after most openly and brutally.

But they really go all in here with causing as much harm as possible to anybody who is not a large reactionary ham.

Oh 100%, sorry if my reply sounded like im implying otherwise

I dont like it when cissies do that shit either, cuz of the implication that them “being next” or getting caught in the crossfire is more important than us being targets right now

I know my employer is just waiting for the day they can be openly racist and get away with it. They’re already covertly racist and the threat of Equality Act repercussions is the only thing keeping them at bay.

Reform are dropping both big and little hints that they are going to fuck most demographics and those that stand to lose the most are either in denial and/or don’t care. It’s kind of terrifying.

This doesn’t even really make sense. The vast, overwhelming majority of the country supports gay rights. Even polling for gay marriage is overwhelmingly in support now.

This is not going to be a popular position but they think they’ll win despite it. One thing to understand about the British system is that if you put something in your manifesto for an election and win the House of Lords can’t oppose it on second+third reading because it’s viewed as something the population knowingly voted to happen. This is called the Salisbury Convention.
