So while there’s a problem and a crime and victims… how do we best handle it? A full shutdown, ban, or do-over is not realistic. Second, laws and regulation doing prevent people from doing bad things, they only disincentivize them. A life sentence for murder sadly doesn’t prevent murders from happening. But we agree that it’s important to dissuade would-be murderers.
I just don’t like the defeatist attitude around this stuff. We can fight this exploitation of workers and creatives, and we should. This is not a legitimate way to do business.
