    Silly thought: Playing doom using dedicated neuronal circuitry vs simulating doom by using your trillions of neurons to imagine playing doom, like an LLM hallucinating doom compared to a simple executable running the game.

    Stop imagining doom! It’s a waste of resources!

    Cyberpunk grimdark setting where you have China on one side with cool Tau-like hypertech against a sort of mechanicus/Ork type thing in NATO where they replaced microchips from Taiwan with BioBrainComputers. Artificial intelligence just becomes intelligence.
    Basically Trench Crusade where you replace christianity with techbros.
