But the actual ruling class definitely does include Elon who owns things for a living, and definitely does not include the school board. Really depends on what part of the States one is in. Where I live the MAGAs have figured out that local elections have low turnout out and the positions have considerable power. Those too extreme to make it in state level politics have been winning these offices and wreaking havoc with anti-woke policies.
