      Thanks for clearing that up. Apparently they do it with cheddar though.

      Since it only specifies a cut, there could be many ways to accommodate them.

      Yeah I mean I personally don’t know what scalloped potatoes are just right off of the rip. I would have to ask or look it up.

      I’ll make a restaurant that serves a dish called scalloped potatoes which features both scallops and potatoes just out of spite now.

      That, and the odd coincidence of sea food quite often having potatoes as a side dish or a part of it more often than not (in my region at least); so a very valid correlation may have been made unawarely (totally a word, trust me)
