this has been on the horizon for a while now. i worry that this is a firm step in the direction of beginning to systematically murder not just Palestinians in Gaza as they have been doing but the thousands of Palestinians that are currently being held in zionist abu ghraibs. and of course, depending on how much they’re willing to toss off all pretenses of due process, they could copy the u.s. immigration court model where large numbers of legal cases are decided effectively in parallel, opening the door for full-on ethnic purging and Holocaust of Palestinians.

perhaps, but my take away from this article is that this law excludes people that the zionists claim participated with Hamas in the Oct 7 rebellion so that they can be tried in separate military tribunals.

  • They cage them, starve them, bomb them, every story they tell portrays them a blood thirsty demons, jail, torture, andremoved them. And now they just defacto sentence them capital punishment… They have nothing to lose, and I will not condemn them for any act self defense.

surely they would judge fairly for such a heavy crime and not use this as some form of extermination they’ve been trying for the last 80 years.

The only way Israel can ensure how the Gaza Strip will be governed, and who will govern it, is to govern it itself. Moreover, the only way Israel can govern the Gaza Strip without becoming an external oppressor of “another people” is to remove “the other people” from the confines of the Gaza Strip itself.

Somehow I still had some tiny piece of naïvete about the nature of Israeli society that made me consider that the quote might be intentionally ghoulish to show how this is a completely untenable position.

        …it was not.

like, it’s not that difficult to think that maybe the reason people are being so difficult to get out of their land is because they dont want to leave their land? a cursory bit of empathy to understand another human’s desires cant be that difficult for them, can it?

I will never forget that one Israeli they had on Jubilee a while ago who was prompted by a Palestinian about exactly that situation as a hypothetical and he said something like “Ze child ees a tekhorheest” (I’m not quite sure how to transcribe it).

I’m not a big “vocal stim” guy, but I’ve had “tekhorh behbee” (terror baby) stuck in my head for like a year.

This is specifically for the “crime” of killing an Israeli with the intent of denying the right of Israel to exist. This would technically not cover kids throwing stones at tanks unless those kids are amazing at throwing stones.

I think the original proposal included kids throwing stones.

In addition, the original wording which stipulated that the law would apply to anyone who harmed an Israeli citizen or resident was removed.
