Iran’s air defence isn’t even top tier, mainly due to sanctions. NATO fanboys always brags about how their military hardware is the best because of success in real world battle field. It’s a totally different ball game than bombing poppy farmers and goat herders. If Russia and China are constantly bombing poor weak countries, I’m sure they can also brag about how awesome and battle proven their military hardware is too.
It’s gonna be hilarious to watch people have to reconcile everything they were saying about Russian army with what we’re seeing being done to the US army in Iran.
It’s ridiculous, their stealth F-35’s only air-air combat success is shooting down an Iranian Yak-130 (a small Russian trainer-light fighter), and it was shot by Iranian Air Defence (reports of heavy damage rendering it inoperable).

🇮🇷🇺🇸| Unconfirmed reports by Nour News (close to Iran’s SNSC) says the reason why an account affiliated with Iran’s IRGC posted the F-15 ejected seat was to lure in US forces. It says IRGC ground forces commandos have already found both the pilots, which also explains why US search&rescue operation has a difficult time finding the pilot(s).
Nour News says it cannot independently verify this report.
Other (very) unconfirmed reports have also stated the one or both pilots have been captured by the IRGC.
According to Iran’s State TV, the pilots statuses are unknown.
