They are greeting us as liberators, they even know that small arms fire is the american equivalent of “hello”!

while I’m glad they’re trying, small arms fire is only a greeting among american students

I dunno why they’re surprised that people are shooting at an invading force. Shit, how many movies/books/games depict America being invaded and the brave plucky citizens taking up rifles to fight back the invaders?

Do they actually believe America is special and that they’ll be greeted as liberators? Do they really think the Iranian version of Red Dawn would end with the classroom of teenagers cheering for the America paratroopers that murder their teacher?

I really don’t know, it is so absurd, but the way Americans behave it does honestly seem like they don’t understand that the rest of the world actually exists and has people in it, just NPCs who stand around doing nothing until Americans interact with them.

Remember Harris went to the shrine to the gunners who shot down McCain because she, and all the libs who cheer about it online, literally thought it was there to HONOR him. Americans genuinely think people not only greet them as liberators, but love nothing more than to have violence acted upon them by Americans. They won’t say it exactly, but every average American truly thinks that foreigners consider it an honor

        They won’t say it exactly

They actually did, NYT said Iranians feel anxiety when US is not bombing them because they fear the war will end without regime change

It’s incomprehensible to me how some people can be so evil. I genuinely hope the US crashes and burns, and every ghoul who cheered on this war gets a thousand times the payback. The sins of USA will only be cleansed by its blood

no no no, she wasn’t the first to do this. There is a tradition of McCain fans visiting the monument. She’s living in the shared reality of the average McCain fan. Not one she invented herself.
