If I get on an elevator and there’s a child, I always ask the child to please push the button for me. It’s good number practice and eye-hand coordination and power over the world and recognition of their identity. Of course I don’t insist if they don’t want to. Consent is important.

The man is clearly an unemployed waster who’s probably high and isn’t usefully contributing to society. I know this because I’m an unemployed waster who’s probably high. So very high.

My kid will do this in a 3 storey building and people react as if he’s just shit on their mother’s grave. One extra stop isn’t going to kill you dude.

Screw those people, it’s not a big deal, it’s like one extra stop, whatever. But maybe teach your kid not to do that though?

The OP image shows 50 though… with 3/4ths of the buttons already lighted up, so this could be a delay of like an HOUR?! At that point it might be worth contacting someone to have them all cancelled, to avoid such wastage, depending on the urgency of need for that specific elevator unit.

Also, you may want to teach your kid about the concept of “consent”… it may come in handy someday. (Mostly joking here bc you did say 3 story building but still…)

Literally just get out of the elevator whenever you get bored and get on a different one, a building with elevator service to 50 floors is going to have more than one of them

True true… but if there’s like two, then it’s still a huge reduction. Even if there’s like four… it could be impactful if it’s at a peak time.
