My prediction: California will someday be the capital of a great nation. Vance, will have no nation left to call his own.

Just look at the glee on his fat stupid face, never seen people so happy to deprive people of things. Every decision they make is the most awful, the most punitive, the most cowardly one they could possibly make. Theyre going to find that a whole lot of libs arent anywhere near as soft as they seem to believe.

If there was a hell, these sub humans would already have reserved seats and ticket upgrades to the front row, watching them dismantle a country that to my naive mind was turning the corner on racism, sexism, caring wut people do in the privacy of their lives with their own ding a ling, has really been disheartening but now im gotten to the point that i cant wait to get at them, let them feel wuts its like to be on the receiving end of some brutality, when i was young i used to believe it was up to me personally to teach idiots the errors of their ways, sometimes physically but i learned theres entirely too many idiots out there i could fulfill my mission, so i grew out of that but these morons, misfits and all around pieces of shit have rekindled that primal fire again and i say come on with it, theyre baiting us every day, trying to incite us, i say ya come on and incite me, we’ll obviously win any conflict, while i dont believe in rekigious fairy tales i do believe in good and evil and good ideas morals compassion and empathy win out in the end and we will defeat this pure evil that we’re witnessing, lets get it popping tho, im ready right now, lol.

Put it in an escrow account and use it to replace the lost medicaid and other funding.

when the feds hold up their end of the deal, they get to have the remaining funds.

I’m not sure how practical that is (seems like it would be more complicated than that). But if something like that could be done it would be great.

Conservatives want to try starving vulnerable Californians? Without our revenue dozens of red states will start starving. Would be funny seeing this administration shoot itself in the foot yet again.

I bet one of the biggest employers in California is the state itself. They simply need to tell people they are holding withholding in escrow and that any irs actions are to be forwarded to their new special tax team.

Then invite all other employers to join.

It wouldn’t be easy but the threat of it happening would bring the administration to the table. What happens when welfare states find out that the big blue boogeyman on the west coast is funding their entire existence? Will they fall in line behind republicans or will they decide to sit out the next vote?

Also, it seems that Californians send their tax payments to Fresno. So they could just, yah know. “oopsiedoodles we raided your tax office on dubious pretenses. It’s cool cuz you do that to state’s voting agencies…”

We (CA) pay far, far, far more into the federal system than we take out. We’re literally the fourth largest GDP in the WORLD.

This is such a fucking stupid thing for this administration to do. This is why it’s important to learn to read, everyone.

It’s a misleading title, but it doesn’t get much better if you click on it. Funny thing is they are complaining that California isn’t tough on fraud. FRAUD! I mean you can’t make this shit up. I thought this just means that California is now qualified to be president.

The Secretary of State does not do Secretary of State things and the VP is delivering policy announcements. It used to be that job titles had specific responsibilities attached.

Well yes. In this case it looks like this is a roll out of the new administration. What this signals to me is that trump is closer to the end of his term - either by health or 25th amendment (or both) and we are previewing the next president and vice president.

Oz said that the administration needs California to clarify $630 million in billing, $500 million in home health services and $200 million in “questionable expenditures” linked to coverage for undocumented immigrants, he claimed. They are not eligible for Medicaid, however.

The move is similar to the one the administration took in February suspending Medicaid payments to Minnesota.

This has nothing to do with “fraud”, and everything to do with Californian and Minnesotan resistance to the DHS and ICE incursions of their cities, and punishing their citizens for daring to vote against Trump. California’s Republican voters are just collateral damage to them:

As of 2024, California had a higher Medicaid enrollment rate than the US overall. Enrollment in the state peaked in 2023 at 38.7%

In California, enrollees are categorized into 5 different categories:

    • Children
    • Pregnant women and parents or caretakers
    • Adults without dependent children
    • People with disabilities (including both adults and children)
    • Seniors (age 65 and over

    https://usafacts.org/answers/how-many-people-are-on-medicaid-in-the-us/state/california/

Californians across party lines overwhelmingly support Medi-Cal. Eighty percent (80%) of Democrats, 75% of Independents, and 62% of Republicans agree that the program should generally stay as it is today.

    https://www.chcf.org/resource/poll-californian-attitudes-medi-cal-covered-ca-federal-cuts/

“Doctor” Oz is no longer just a daytime TV huckster, he’s driving the policy that removes health care from pregnant women, children, and senior citizens. These people are black-hearted, red-eyed evil - “Do what we say, or we’ll take away the taxpayer-funded healthcare you paid for.”

Because when it gets pointed out for being illegal and evil, Trump can say he never had any knowledge of it. Vance gets thrown under the bus or they’ll find some other patsy to blame for going rogue.

I mentioned this in a different comment - My feeling is that the RNC sees the writing on the wall with trump - his age, health, cognitive decline, etc and are previewing the potential next president and vice president (Rubio). They are letting Vance get some air time to build him up in voters minds before he gets thrown in the deep end when trump isn’t president.

I can’t understand how any U.S. citizen can still have faith in the legal system.

Here’s just one example of how hopeless that is: the incumbent president is still in office.

Meanwhile Rick Scott was in charge of Columbia/HCA while it committed the largest count of Medicaid fraud in history. He’s now a Senator and the Republicans put him in charge of their finances.

He let a thought slip when talking about healthcare and Luigi. Obviously he has to play the song and dance of “it was like when you say ‘kill a bill’”. Hasan has to walk a fine line because he’s in the public eye. But, yeah, we all know it’s true on its face. Obviously we’re not getting healthcare for everyone by assassinations of more CEOs. But he said what we all are often thinking.

The quote above does not call for the assassination of Rick Scott.

Also, Rick Scott is a government employee (and was an elected official), not a CEO. Even if he was at some point (before his record breaking fraud)
