    Trump has no class.

Before anyone says “what does this have to do with Trump?” - This is an event hosted by Trump for his birthday using tax payer money. Admonish the fighter all you wamt but this is an environment fostered by Trump. As stated in a comment above, the fighter was probably paid to say that, with Trump in the audience, on his birthday. Probably paid him in Trump coin or something.

This is an event hosted by Trump for his birthday using tax payer money.

I still can’t fucking believe that’s legal. How is it that he gets to spend $60 million on turning the White House into white-trash trailer-park ghetto cage match on the tax payer dime.

The US 1% finally went mask off and don’t care what the general public thinks of them now. Trump was the permission structure that allowed it.

Trump was elected because of the permission structure.

No functioning republic would allow him past the primary. This is one of the unintended (joke) side effects of Citizens United and Super PACs, it just took a few years and billionaires are sharing the stage with Presidential victors, laughing. There’s a huge amount of money behind him, and he got more “free” press than anybody ever.

Any rule (legal, moral, social) is only ever worth as much as its enforcement. Beyond that, it’s a mere suggestion. If people obey him, whether his commands are legal is academical. They certainly are effective.

It’s kinda baffling. A country with a violent gun culture obsessed with rising up against any totalitarian government… And yet all of it is just a lie funded by the military industrial complex.

I don’t see how any citizen with a gun stands a chance against drone strikes and SWAT teams. The best leverage American workers have over the rich is the same as everywhere else in the world:

          • Stop going to work.
          • Peacefully disobey the authorities.
          • Don’t believe the narrative and create art.
          • Form strong local communities and alternative economies.

I’m not talking about that. It is telling that that’s where you went, though.

No, you see, there are rules and none of us are above the rules. Rules that are unimportant must be dropped (not prosecuting cause it “could look bad”, not using the majority in the senate “cause what if they get the majority?”) and rules that are important must be enforced (antitrust, holding people in power accountable).

Kindergarten insults just reinforces us vs them thinking. They, the people elected to rule, are not us. We, the people, we’re the us. I don’t care if your propaganda exposure made you pick team blue or team red. Largely, neither of those fucks want to actually lead, they just want to sit on the heap. If the red team makes someone actually interested in leading, great, but they’re too busy indoctrinating racists and religious nut jobs so they don’t actually have to do their jobs. Team blue is similar, but their vector of control (minority groups who “have no other choice” and white people who are scared of seeming racist) at least makes them attempt to do the job they’re elected to do. But they will wiggle their way out of it at their soonest convenience.

We have almost 50 years of examples of Republican Presidents, Congressmen, Senators and Supreme Court Justices ignoring the rules and societal norms to further their right wing agenda. While the left adheres to those same rules.

Yes, and while you’re dutifully keeping track of the other team, during those same 50 years, the Democrats have backslid into conservativism light. I’m not saying “they go low, we go high” I’m saying that the rules need to apply to everyone. I’m saying thinking of politics like sports ball makes everyone kind of suck. Go out, talk to your conservative friends, make them understand that it doesn’t matter who leads, we need them to actually talk about and do the action of leading. If their politicians choose whipping people into frenzies about literally anything other than the job of running the country, they need to go.

Remember that the GOP and its base are so incredibly racist, that the fact we ever had a black president is quite literally traumatic to these buffoons.

They quite literally still cry about it and shake in fear every day, especially knowing it could theoretically happen again.

The real question is how are there still so many dipshits in America who aren’t MAGA but still can’t see its 10000000% a white supremacist movement.

They have to add on that obviously Obama was not just black, and not just half black and half white, but he was also a foreigner, he was also Islamic, he was also married to a trans woman, that his kids were manchurian candidates specially trained by some sort of secret three-letter government agency in another country to destroy America and he was also some secret agent…

The stories they have made up about Obama elevate him far beyond the level of mythical. Their brains simply will not accept that he simply won the vote.

They have to wrap so many levels on top of it. It must have been a conspiracy. Otherwise, how could a black man have become president?

When you say, hey, you know, maybe it’s a little racist to think this way. They go, oh, I’m not fucking racist. The guy works for the devil, that’s all.

That fuse in their brain has been permanently short-circuited.

I know it’s kind of sad, but I feel like a lot of these people would be more mentally healthy if they would just go ahead and admit that deep down in their hearts of hearts, they “can’t believe a n-word was president”.

They want to say it with all of their soul, but their puritanical American self-repression is what’s got them trapped.

They want to say they’re not racist while hating black people with a deeply fundamental part of their spiritual makeup.

I’m sure they even see the craziness that the Orange Cheeto has been pulling and are deeply ashamed of it.

But because they can’t come out to themselves and admit that they are racist, they hate black people. They want black people to be underneath them so they can feel better about themselves, they are venting that energy in wild and uncontrolled ways, and very intelligent people in the GOP are taking advantage of that.

Admitting that they are racist is part of the solution.

They could cure that racism afterwards, but first you have to admit that you have a problem.

Ever notice that most of MAGA’s material was cribbed from the liberal side? There was a running joke 15-20 years ago about Ann Coulter being a trans woman, due to her prominent Adam’s apple. They applied the “I’m rubber you’re glue” rule, and have been trying to make this a thing since then. As usual, they’ve missed what made the joke funny, as cringe as it was.

“When someone tells you who they are, believe them.”

Why do you think they’re so obsessed with who can use which restroom, obsessed with who may or may not be a man or woman, make posts about getting married or engaged during pride month, etc, etc, etc it’s because they’re all collectively jealous of the LGBTQ+ community and in many cases are closeted homosexuals/transgender. Which is an insult to the LGBTQ+ community and does them a disservice. They want that life so desperately but are terrified that everyone in their circle will ridicule them for it meanwhile those in said circle also want the same thing.

I would say it’s their upbringing. They were told that gay people will go to hell and that gay people will all get AIDS and have horrible diseases and will suffer and everybody will hate them for being gay and that it’s bad to be gay, or LGBT+ in any way.

        Therefore, if you’re LGBT+, you’re a bad person.

And whatever horrible things happen to bad people is perfectly okay. It is their just desserts.

They have been programmed to treat LGBT+ people the same way they treat pedophiles.

Laugh at them and cheer when they die, pray for their death, keep your family and children away from them, physically attack them if they get near you, prevent them from getting jobs, make them feel unwelcome everywhere they go.

And because, at a fundamental level of their own hearts, they have designated LGBT+ people as bad people, they are perfectly okay with this.

The only real cure for it is to change how they see those people.

He just had an old buddy on his show a few days ago who was talking to him about how Trump had turned on Republicans, specially about selling out federal land. Rogan agreed, starts ranting about the Epstein files, but then immediately talks about how great Trump is, and how cool he is in person, and just how much he “loves america.” His pal then talked about how the upcoming whitehouse fight was shameful, and that government should lead, not put on entertainment, and Rogan just fully stopped pretending to push back at all.

Rogan rants and raves, but he is close friends with Trump. He won’t turn his back on him.

      Have him say something intelligent

I think about this often. The Onion can’t hit it anymore, and all they’d need to do would be to write stories about Trump donating to children or reading books to elderly or basically anything make a wish foundation or your local superhero teacher does. Or, just copy anything that he’s actually doing, but since it’s the onion, people would be shook to anger by reality but laugh at the cleverness and saddened by the pain.

          How about this:

Trump jumps into UFC ring, reveals he was faking his old and ugly the whole time

President Trump surprised voters on Sunday by stepping into the Whitehouse UFC ring and challenging Joe Rogan to a kickboxing match. Rogan at first refused to fight, citing concerns about the president’s poor health, flabby physique, and deteriorating cognitive ability.

In response, Trump tore off his wrinkled, orange-stained face to reveal it was a mask the whole time. He then released hidden buckles at his shoulders, allowing the fatsuit he had been wearing for the last three electoral cycles to fall to the ground. The POTUS then yelled to the assembled crowds, “The people, they love a heel, eh? But let’s set aside the act for today, because I’m feeling ready to rumble.”

Trump, now revealed to be an athletic 30-year-old, then backflipped behind Rogan and suplexed him, while singing the Star Spangled Banner at the top of his lungs. He then challenged the crowd, but no members of the electorate were foolish enough to answer him. Sighing, the president put his fatsuit and mask back on, and slowly waddled back inside the white house while audibly shitting his pants.

Yeah I was thinking about that. The Onion would say “Trump saves puppy” and magas would just believe it…

So no only is it not symmetric because of the bullshit-proof rule or the confirmation biases… But these people are not normal. They’re some of the dumbest and most belligerent people in existence. Literally, a special breed of stupid.
