At least the weimar SPD actually passed a bunch of reforms. Like sure they were empowering fascists/fascist collaborators, but there was a trade off for a worker to agree to. The current SPD is offering nothing.

  • There’s a lot of reasons Friedrich Merz has staffers that sue people who post mean things about him online. The absolute utter ghoulishness we see on display here is probably the main one, but that he is so corrupt he would have been put up against the wall 10 times over in the PRC is a close second and we should not forget that he’s the exact same kind of opportunist proto-fascist as his grandfather who immediately joined the Hitlerists in 1933. Worst chancelor Germany has had since 1945.

He’s not SPD tho, as for most of Merkel’s reign the SPD is more like … a kind of footstool the CDU government is propped up upon. They just really like to be used that way.

Worst chancelor Germany has had since 1945.

I still actually blame merkel for this on account of pretending it’s like 1998 for 16 years or so lead directly to this bozo

a kind of footstool the CDU government is propped up upon.

wdym kind of. their last vestige of being the workers party was “a worker is somebody who assembles cars on a factory line for 4000 eurdollars a month because that’s what the country runs on” and now they’re abandoning even that, again, in the last 20 years. The SPD is functionally the CDU except you live somewhere that used to have factories

I wonder if this rise in sick days has anything to do with existing health policy being insufficient? Oh well, let’s just make it worse this-is-fine
