Thanks for breaking out of the metaphor. The metaphor is kinda fun and silly (I think), but it does hinder the communication a wee bit (I rolled with it cause it’s fun). I wasn’t really thinking of surgical removal of body parts (internal or external), hence why I was mentioning hormonal changes. Tbh, I reckon “surgical changes” is probably the part ATM that I know least about, seeing as I’ve heard of the hormonal stuff a tad. But I can learn about that on my own
