Genuinely; I wonder what happened to this person.

Did amazon/their supervisor recognize a potential crisis and give this person support, or did they just throw the book at them and fire them on the spot. I’m sure we can all guess what’s more likely; but that’s not guaranteed.

Whichever it was, I hope they’re alright and not spiralling, or worse… Adult life is hard.

That sudden corporate tone shift is hilarious. You can almost feel the “please remain professional” email being drafted in real time.

least to say I wanted to punch that person in the face, and I no longer hang out there because it’s full of corpo zombie types of people who work 80 hour weeks and think ‘synergize’ is a verb for everyday use.

Yeah, I’m going to need you to do a better job as using ‘Capital’ letters when starting sentences and after a period or end break of a sentence. It looks rather unprofessional when you don’t punctuate correctly. If you need a refresher course for how to type professionally in a casual environment, remember we’re a family and we can set something up for you to assist you in the future.

Looks a little shopped cuz the distance is different before the word “depressed”.

Still a good fake text if so.

Oh, you are depressed? Let’s add jobless on top of it. If Amazon would have done the right thing (lol) they would have mentioned it in the post.

I would spend like an hour asking them about their employee mental health and if I could speak with the depressed person to ask why.
