Snip:
A spokesman for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says more than 650 US military personnel have been killed and wounded within the first two days of Iran’s retaliatory Operation True Promise 4 by Iranian Armed Forces against US military installations and warships across West Asia.
“In the first two days of the war, 650 American troops were killed and wounded,” Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini stated on Tuesday.
He emphasized that it was natural for the US military to deny or conceal the casualties; nevertheless, Iranian intelligence as well as all field reports confirm the toll.
He said that the Iranian strikes, which included missile and drone attacks, against US naval assets and military headquarters in Bahrain, forced the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier to flee towards the southern Indian Ocean.
Erm akshually this is propaganda, president pedophile hitler has assured me the number is only 3
its almost certainly more than 3 but like, can we be fr, 650? That’s 10 times the number of US (plus allies) troop casualties from the first month of the Iraq war
Keep in mind that casualties are not kills. Iran are claiming these are numbers of injured troops, not dead. The US has admitted to “several others” having concussions and shrapnel injuries receiving treatment.
good point, thats on me for misreading it
Then there must have been 326.5 deaths. The truth is always somewhere in the middle.
They figured out how to turn that half of a guy into a cyborg zombie, hence the .5
nah the cum retrieved from 326 dead troops fills half a body bag (israel hasn’t really shown us how to do any of this properly but we’ll sort it out later)
What do you think fuels the cyborg zombie, (or Zomborg as is the common parlance)?

did somebody say Cumberg?
from the first month of the Iraq war
I can’t speak for the Iraqi military’s arsenal at that time, but I feel like Iran’s current one is probably leagues better and far more competent
For one thing we’re not engaged in a ground invasion NOT because we’re ‘not trying to invade Iran’, but because we can’t; anyone stupid enough to order this would be sending scores of scumbags to their deaths while still in the air
Also Iraq was easier to conduct horrific attacks upon without retaliation before bothering to put troops on the ground while Iran can actually to some extent defend their airspace; Iraq wasn’t able to put up a fight even a 1/100th as Iran is doing now; if they truly made the carrier flee that easily puts them leagues beyond Iraq
Iran definitely learned from Iraq’s mistakes. But Iraq was one of the best fighting forces in the Middle East. They were weakened by the time of the invasion, but they had just won 2 wars in the decade prior.
Casualties includes dead and injured. It is entirely plausible for there to be that many injured.
It would make sense that this conflict is more lethal because Iran is more advanced than Iraq of 2003… and has more intelligence capabilities.
Everyone was warning that the casualties of this war would dwarf Iraq. Some were thinking of ground invasion - others were saying this more recently - with the air invasion context.
Yeah I’m personally putting it at probably 150-200 casualties
I did see something where they admitted to several hundred “concussions and minor shrapnel injuries” or something like that. Saying they were receiving treatment before going back into service.
They need to produce a bunch of doohickeys and stake their claim on “Iran Syndrome” so they can accurately report tens of thousands of casualties.
Are they counting every troop that pinched their hand in a gun part as a casualty
Obviously I want to believe but I find it hard to.
With any claim from any side in any war, I only take it seriously when there’s a photo or video that holds up to scrutiny. I can confidently say they’ve had drone/missile strikes in densely developed areas but that’s the only thing backed up so far from the footage I’ve seen. The logistics of dealing with two destroyers’ worth of casualties should be noticeable in the coming days if that’s accurate.
I don’t see any real utility in them overcounting their numbers. They seem more focused on damaging material than people. If anything ai would imagine they undercount the casualties to emphasize the justness of their war
Any evidence the boat is actually retreating?
it isn’t, but very likely the threat forced it to evade and adjust course for a minute. IRGC spokespeople are making heaps out of grains
Mountains and molehills are both heaps.
Unless the mountain is soilless, in which case the mountain is a grain and the molehill is a heap.
Yeah, fair. Gotta help morale up.
Sir, those are rookie numbers sir.
What’s a spox? I highly suspect it’s some kind of insider slang.

It means “spokesperson.”
