You can’t count it a homicide if the person has just disappeared

So you have a source with statistics showing missing persons cases have increased to make up for the difference, right? Because I’d be interested in reading that. Or are you talking or of your ass?

This data doesn’t appear to include the time period discussed in the article, the analysis ending in May 2025 whereas the post here is talking about the months since then.

From May 2025 to this day, there are 11 months difference. The article says it accountr 18 months, so still 6 months that can be included on the source I shared, and still valid, as studies like this are not updated on a pretty regular basis. Either way, it would be suspicious the trend would show a sudden drop as well.

But I guess no matter what info you are shown, you will still not be sattisfied, right?

Why would that be suspicious if Mexico has a new strategy to combat organized crime?

In fact, it would be the opposite - I’d expect the trend to show a sudden drop as well!

I have neither satisfaction nor dissatisfaction, just telling you what the data appeared to show. I couldn’t view OPs article so I have no idea about the accuracy.

Incredible coming from the person reacting to a story about massive reduction of homicides with “it must be because they’re doing a different BAD THING™ instead”
