Same, I’m big and tall but anyone with fighting experience can fold my clothes while I’m still in them.

Average dutch male, looking down from 6ft, wondering why everyone is so tiny.

As a severely below-average height Dutch woman, visiting Japan and seeing faces at the level of my face instead of chests was quite the experience.

You may find it interesting to know that around 150 years ago, Dutch men were amongst some of the shortest populations in Europe at an average of 165cm (5 ft 5 in).

Good exercise, better diets, and various other good things went into contributing to a taller average height today.

We don’t even have to go 150 years back if we take a look at North and South Korea’s. Photos of soldiers from both countries standing side by side show staggering difference.

It’s unlikely they would ever be scary. Their bows are floppy, their steel is brittle, and they probably have higher pitched voices than I would expect. Little killer voices that shriek in the octave of children.
