If you’re into games at all, I just learned about this series of games called Noun Town that I’m really looking forward to trying. It’s a one time lifetime purchase (no subscription) and affordable (US$20). From what I can tell, one of the features is that it puts you in virtual situations like you would encounter in the real world, like ordering at a cafe, taking directions, etc. It has 12 languages, including Spanish from Spain and Spanish from Mexico. I think that games still have a huge potential for use in education that is still untapped, particularly in adult education.

Another resource that I learned about here on Lemmy recently is Language Transfer. It’s a website and apparently free (accepts donations). I haven’t tried it myself yet, but the people recommending it seemed to really like it.

Ahhh that is perfect! Speaking to people really gets in the way for me I get so nervous. I know that’s normal but if I could get practice in that way I’ll be so golden. Ty!

Cool! Yes, if nothing else, I think that the game could be a big help even if just as a supplement to other learning. I presume you’re talking about the game and not the website. :) If you do try it, please let us know what you think of it.
