Senator Van Hollen says about Abrego Garcia:

    • Abrego Garcia feels traumatized about being at CECOT.
    • He doesn’t feel threatened by his cellmates, but he fears prisoners in other units.
    • He was moved out of CECOT to a new facility in Santa Ana 8 days ago.
    • He has no access to news or information from the outside world.
    • He feels very sad about being in prison for not committing any crime.
    • He said he wants to talk to his wife more than anything else.

Van Hollen says that government official placed the margaritas on the table in the Bukele photo. Van Hollen says that neither he or Abrego Garcia drank from the margarita. Van Hollen implies that the margaritas may have been fake and the one of the margaritas was left less full than the other to appear as it had been drank from.

    I’m happy he’s alive.

I’m still concerned about the uncountable unknown prisoners, American or not, held in CECOT, which I believe senator Hollen was barred from visiting, correct?

Why doesn’t the senator just take him back? Make the guards question how much they value their lives if they have to fight against the Secret Service or US Army. Like if I was a US senator, I’m taking a full detail with me and we’re going to leave with whoever I say because fuck you.

Democrats are more concerned about decorum and norms, even as Republicans throw it all out the window.

The military guys are there to protect you, not obey your orders. If he ordered them to seize Garcia they could just choose not to.

The supreme court also said that the US has to facilitate his return. Which means if he could get him out of the prison and onto a plane, he would actually be doing exactly what the supreme court said he should do and facilitated his return.
