pay people enough to live
make nurses wear hard hats and hivisGirly jobs (20% less pay)
b-but i thought i’d be a miner doing hard labour after the revolution!
Put on the cat-ears and get inside the maid cafe!No big deal, I’m already a maid with cat ears and I serve my senpai.
not saying anything for certain or backing up with data, always take an internet comment with a grain of salt. but the issue is not that “women are doing men’s work” or “men are not doing women’s work”, it’s that the “new jobs” that i hear both from the US and see here have vastly poorer quality in terms of working hours and pay compared to the old jobs (part time, gigs, side hustles, cleaning up chatgpt output, managing online shops etc) and women are “willing” (forced to by a multitude of factors) to fill in these positions at a higher rate while men are dropping or being forced out of the labor market.
as it turns out the bullshit dismissal of gender pay gap “if women are paid less people would hire them over men” is just becoming true. the big caveat is that i assumed the headline of this article is representative of its content and that women are indeed getting most of the new jobs. it could also just be that since the US is already in a recession people are just bending themselves over and backwards to justify why things are shit without admitting that there’s a recession or the unemployment numbers are crap.
I drive da bus

there it is! the mandatory forced feminization we’ve been warned about!

But that’s not fair. Why are they only force femming male nurses and teachers? When do they start force femming us tradesmen? When do we get femboy plumbers and electricians?
first they came for the …
Then hire them. Problem solved.
Do they actually think men are refusing to work? No, the alternative is death. Stop being picky and get to hiring. It’s that simple.
Have men thought abt not being so misogynistic they refuse to work a “girly” job?
some do and then they get harassed by their coworkers and bosses. or pedojacketed if they’re k-6 teachers.
Men belong in the kitchens and nurseries not the workplace
Is this not just a consequence of most of the meager economic growth being in healthcare?
“Could it be men have been over-represented in the work force because they were benefitting from male privilege? No, clearly it’s not enough manly jobs!”
when i got my paralegal studies associate’s degree i genuinely was disgusted by the amount of employers who were really just looking for a female secretary.
