Bread costs $10 and the circuses are being gated behind age verification.
what is the point of having a line to call your representative if you can’t make a few actionable threats?

dudes rock

It’s so funny when some guy gets upset at a local politician and immediately makes death threats. What was that one like a year ago where the guy just got message after message of meemaw and pepep saying they were going to shoot him, and they published a bunch of those messages? They were fun to listen to because it’s like these people are so unbelievably privileged and insulated that they don’t realize how dangerous it is to make death threats like that.
Lmao America’s Bloody Sunday (1905 edition) will be age locking Netflix or Disney behind an esoteric verification system and the revolution will be lead by the weebs.

Texas banned anime? Not quite
The affidavit does not say which anime Ozment tried to watch or how he attempted to watch it.
Most major anime streaming websites, such as Crunchyroll, HIDIVE and Yomi, remain available to access for Texans. KXAN double-checked this Thursday.
While the state legislature has not banned anime, two laws come to mind that could have impeded the caller’s access.
The first is a 2023 state law requiring adult websites to verify the age of any visitor before allowing access to content. In response, several pornographic streaming websites simply blocked all access from devices in Texas. 2025 | US Supreme Court upholds Texas age verification law
Another law is Texas’ app store age verification law. It requires a similar age verification process for smartphone users who want to download software from an app store such as Google Play. There’s currently ongoing litigation over the law’s constitutionality, but the law is in effect until that concludes.
This is one of those things where I don’t give a fuck about what this person is doing but here I am having to care because of some losers in congress.
What anime do they want to watch?
Just a simple cowboy wanting his bebop
Or a samurai wanting his champloo (whatever that is)
Champloo is an oddly rendered version of the Okinawan word “chanpuruu”, which is a sort of improvised meal made of random stir-fried tofu, vegetables, and meat. But in everyday Japanese the word can also mean something like mishmash or hodgepodge, like a mixture of clashing ingredients.
And it’s an anime about hip-hop dance fighting in the Edo period
Pretty sure it’s hentai lmao.
