I’m working on mine and have put down that my funeral hss to be outdoors in the rain, if the weather isnt gonna work with that until I get ripe to have lawn sprinklers, they have to hire an actress to stand near the back weeping loudly and to throw herself on the coffin. I dont have anything possession or money wise to speak of and so it’s basically what I want out of a funeral. Im pretty sure my parents think im not actually gonna bring this version to a lawyer. They are so fucking wrong. If I did happen to die before they do, im pretty sure they would follow it to the letter anyway. I’m a very silly person who is really really cavalier about death. Lost like 30 people i know in 2 years cause of fent mostly. 10 were close. So yeah, it just doesn’t mean the same thing to me as it does to them and I want it to be ridiculous. It’s how I get to impose my will from beyond the grave.
That’s cool as hell. I’m more boring and I think I’m going with that service that’s turns your body into fertilizer and having them make a garden out of me or something. Native plants, big oak in the middle. Needs to be open to the community and have plenty of seating. Something like that.
Depending on when I kick it I think I’m going to make my survors invite literally everyone they can find that I know and make it a rager (the garden part can be the more formal sad close thing or whatever). No, there was, in 1866, a federal law passed that living people could not be featured on paper currency, and in 2005 they added another law saying living people could not be featured on coin currency. Some people have gotten around the law by saying they’re commemorative coins, so not really currency, therefore okay. Except Trump’s is going to be legal tender. Supposedly his argument is that in 2020 they said they were going to make a special 250yr coin that could feature something emblematic of the founding of the country. Supposedly it’s because we don’t want to give the impression that we have kings or dictators. Because apparently having your face on a coin is what makes you a king/dictator.
It was generally how coins got stamped by either but it’s not like…something that makes you a king or dictator if you do it. It just kinda made sense at the time to have the head of state that the money is for on the money. I guess we dont have anyone living on our money anymore. But that only happened when Queen Elizabeth died and I think we’re just waiting out this guy before changing the money to the next British royalty. The other side of our money has cool animals most of the time instead of weird illumati looking shit, that’s kinda neat.
