Yeah this was very close to my worldview after a life of trauma, until I slowly shifted towards leftism then Marxism. A sort of reification of mental illness and despair into a quasi-ideology.
It takes more than a nudge for these feelings to develop into a belief system and produce results like this. The West expends so much energy eradicating leftist thought from the culture, giving unmaterialist and destructive ideologies like this an evolutionary advantage. As someone who is trans and fled the United States recently because of the political situation- The psychic damage from constantly being exposed to mass shootings and other attacks is real and it does affect quality of life and I think it’s rude as hell to paint people as cowards for wanting to emigrate.

The fed shit is putting a magnifying glass on these bullshit reddit philosophies and actively encouraging their spread, because they know someone like this (or lots of someones) will do stuff like this. This isn’t a “false flag” or anything, just the natural consequences of the feds steering people away from leftist political thought and into nonsensical right wing violence.
