Eh. Conspiracy brain says that this is just to lend him an anti-establishment aspect, so that he’s better positioned to control the wilder right wing.

Good I say. An anti-war, anti-zionist-entity right is good actually and they’ll still be fighting the remaining right which is pro-zionist and pro-war factions.

If the American empire is indeed winding down and part of that means abandoning the zionist outpost as untenable I think the Palestinian people would say that’s a good thing.

Zionism isn’t a voting issue for right wingers though, nor is it an angle of radicalization. There are a lot of right wingers that are semi class conscious, specifically libertarians. This does not effect who they vote for, or what political action they take in real life.

The amount of hilariously stupid or genuinely terrifying evil this man would have to do to get “arrested” (they do that?) by the CIA when you’re Lord Tucker Whiteman, Earl of Frozen Dinner

I will not be suspending my belief for this man

Tucker, imma be honest with you man, I don’t care. But you are more likely to “commit suicide” with two to the back of the neck, than get arrested. The Trump admin got their little war. And you didn’t do much of anything.

Julian Assange got the full court press and they still couldn’t get the job, and he was a real journalist. If they really wanted rid of Carlson, they would just have Mossad toss him out a window.

This thread does certainly reveal a certain American-brained-ness among many on this site. Treat loving users from their armchairs seethe on a guy they’ve hated since they watched him spar with Jon Stewart and agreed with Jon because they think American politics is a sports match still despite claiming leftism and they want to see their “enemies” who they hate on a personal level suffer. Do they care or notice if this suffering is at the hands of much more monstrous, barbaric, murderous, and evil institutions and organizations that apparently think he impedes their mission? Apparently not.

Yes Tucker is a reactionary, yes he might even be deep cover CIA as Putin hinted. But if the reason to hate him is he’s CIA then rooting for the CIA against him is ridiculous (you’re being taken in by kayfabe or else rooting for them cleaning up a wayward mess successfully) . If he’s not CIA then he’s some sort of potentially genuine anti-interventionist reactionary which is GOOD. Even if he is deep cover CIA the fact is he’s against the zionist entity and can credibly offer reasons why to the right and collapsing that right now is very important in the wake of the continuing Gaza genocide.

The problem for the global south is not that you Americans have mean reactionaries who are mean to your domestic populations, you’ve always had those and some had a (D) next to their name. The problem for the global south and the cause of liberation of the entire global proletariat including the American one is the American empire.

Anything that saps that, that divides against its unity at home is good almost by definition. It’s why we didn’t need much analysis to say we side with Russia in Ukraine because the US/NATO empire is the bigger threat and problem (on top of Nazis being evil and any fight against them being righteous).

Could he become a bigger problem in the future? Possibly. Do I see him overcoming the MIC money and long interests and drive to war to become president? Ehh I’m not so sure I buy that, not in the next 4 years anyways and those are 4 years he’s agitating against American interests, doing interviews with Putin, saying we shouldn’t fight for the zionist entity, etc.

Fact is Tucker also shames the bourgeois press institutions of this country. By merely making an effort at appearing to be an actual journalist who actually covers “all sides” in a non-constrained to within the approved narrative way he brings up important points for questioning everyone from Fox News to NBC to ABC and CNN to your average American who has never seen someone in the modern era looking like a real journalist who actually interviews “enemies”. Quite possibly, probable he does some sort of Alex Jones rug-pull down the line but for now he’s useful peeling people away from the real problems.

You don’t have to like him. There’s not that much to like about the current Russian government yet we critically support them. I’m not even saying critically support Tucker, I’m saying you’re rooting for the greater evil against the lesser evil in rooting for the CIA against him and that to my mind doesn’t make sense. It’s very liberal “team brained” and I think you should all be more introspective.

Yes Tucker is a reactionary, yes he might even be deep cover CIA as Putin hinted.

He’s a CIA asset, it’s not even particularly subtle. Tucker is controlled opposition, the CIA pretends to “oppress” him to grant him legitimacy. Yes it’s stupid of those in this thread to “chose” the “lesser evil” between the two, since in reality they are the same side.

      blob-stop

The only reason you should be against this is because it triangulates antiimperialist messaging away from leftists to channel it into worse fascism by bringing liberals into the fray. Everything else is utter tripe.
