Every non-US American passport holder will immediately be sent to a concentration camp?

“You’re a German tourist with a return flight next Monday I see. Mam, you’re taking our jobs, you’re eating our dogs, we will send you to an El Salvador prison straight away.”

The people with training (I’m against the TSA entirely but I will admit some of them have a good amount of training in respective disciplines) that are not getting paid get to work side by side with completely untrained assholes who are overpaid. This should go well.

There is no way there are enough ICE to do this.

Trump is setting up the US for a ‘terrorist attack’ to justify the Iran War. Some poor brown guy with a beard will get gunned down just trying to fly home to his family, and MAGA will thank Jessica Foster for being blonde.

for downvoters…let’s circle back on what happens in 14 days or less.

If history is any indication, they’ll prob get caught in the cross-fire like local law enforcement in Chicago, LA, or Minneapolis

The only way to stop an untrained ICE agent with a gun is a trained TSA agent with a gun.

When you pass them in the airport, tell them their children hate them, because they probably do. At least some of them know it, and it will really eat at them.

How to reduce your countries travellers instantly to 0, just like they did with job creation. What semi sane person would travel to the us (or within for that matter)with the tsa handling things. You will be shipped off to Alligator Auschwitz in the blink of an eye before you even leave the airport. They will call it being efficient.

General strikes won’t work in America. MAGA doesn’t care if we go without jobs or money, and there are more than enough desperate poor people that they won’t have any problem finding scabs to replace strikers.

We have a mechanism where we can deny them funding, and shut THEM down, and deny them their paychecks. Hurt THEM with our strategies, not us.

Shut it all down, and let chaos reign. Elect Democrats, and it will end.

And has that stopped them to date? Last I heard they’ve only increased their activity even in places like Minneapolis.

Best case you get detained and miss your flight, realistically you do it in an airport and you’ll be a “terrorist”.

                So your plan is…nothing?

                That’s exactly like no plan.

I’ll go with the whistles and only blow on it when I’m in a LARGE crowd, like at the airport.

They have not increased their activity in Minneapolis since they announced the drawdown. They weren’t gone right away, and they’re still using the Whipple building for detention and outfitting vehicles, but most of the abductions are happening in the greater metro area and even then they’ve decreased.

I feel like this is a really bad idea on their part. So far they’ve only been terrorizing blue communities, now everyone is gonna get a taste. Just a litttttle but harder for people to ignore their own eyes and ears.

Which is it Tom!?! This report says they they are not going to aid tsa at airports.

    https://thehill.com/policy/transportation/5795316-homan-ice-tsa-plan-dhs-shutdown/

    FTA

White House border czar Tom Homan said Sunday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers will not be directly involved in security scanning measures at airports, a day before agency officials will begin assisting Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees.

“Wherever we can provide extra security, I don’t see an ICE agent looking at an X-ray machine, because we’re not trained in that,” Homan told host Dana Bash on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“But there are certain parts of security that TSA is doing that we can move them off those jobs, and put them in the specialized jobs to help move those lines,” he added.

President Trump wrote on Truth Social earlier Sunday that ICE officers will “help” TSA agents starting Monday and Homan is in charge of the operation. The longtime immigration official said Sunday that he is “working on the plan” with acting ICE Director Todd Lyons and acting TSA Administrator Ha Nguyen McNeill.

“We’ll have a plan by the end of today,” he added. Homan also said that while the plan is a “work in progress,” it is his view that ICE should prioritize airports “where the longest waits are.”

As the shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) approaches day 40, a significant percentage of TSA employees continue to call out of work — resulting in lengthy security wait times at airports nationwide.

Some airports, including Philadelphia International Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, have even closed security checkpoints amid staffing shortages.

Lauren Bis, acting assistant secretary of DHS, also said in a Tuesday release that 366 TSA officers have left the force since the shutdown began on Feb. 15. TSA employees received partial paychecks late last month and no paychecks at all last week.

Now, with ICE officers set to assist at airports, Homan said the law enforcement officials are ready to do so.

“ICE agents are assigned at many airports across the country already,” he told Bash. “They do a lot of investigation, criminal investigation on smuggling at airports. But you got TSA agents covering exits, people that enter through the exits.”

“Certainly, a highly trained ICE law enforcement officer can cover an exit and makes sure people don’t go through those exits, entering the airport through the exits,” he said. “And stuff like that relieves that TSA officer to go to screening and to reduce those lines.”

Homan’s comments Sunday conflict with those from Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who told ABC News that ICE officers would assist with security screening operations at airports.

“They run those same type of security machines at the southern border, right?” Duffy said Sunday. “Packages come through or people come through. They run similar assets.”

“We have ICE agents who are trained and can provide assistance to agents,” he continued, noting the officers will also seek to assist with lines.

Homan also told host Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday” that ICE officers will relieve TSA agents from duties such as guarding exits, to allow them to focus on screening passengers.

The Hill has reached out to TSA, ICE and Transportation Department for clarification.

Homan on Sunday also noted on CNN that ICE carries out immigration enforcement at airports “all the time” and that is “not going to change,” but he added that this surge is specifically about assisting TSA employees.

“This is about helping the men and women at TSA,” Homan said.
