    Also… do you think these people tell their passengers about it whenever they get into the car? Or are the owners assuming they will have the capacity to explain it in the moment of the crash/fire?

      I can just imagine a Tesla owner inviting a friend or family member to be a passenger, just so they can brag about the car while they drive on the interstate, and then casually mentioning the DIY rip cords, making the passenger instantly regret that they didn’t set up a will before they got in.
